This was a print done in Illustrator. I created all of the individual patterns, drew the circular shapes and placed the patterns inside. I made a grid behind the primary shape and brought down the opacity for each pattern. This was done for a book cover design on pattern.

ReplyDeleteI like how the circular pattern draws you in, as well as gives motion to the piece as a whole. The fact that it lets the viewer's eye flow throughout the entire piece is pretty neat!
