This was a piece I did for a CD cover design. The top image was the front of the CD and was done in Photoshop. I took a picture of my daughter, converted it to grayscale and reversed the exposure. I created a brush for the dandelion seeds and painted them into a design that I thought would work. I used some type treatment on the "wish" title. The lower panel was the back and the inside fold of the CD. I wanted to pull in the elements of the front and take out the color to bring cohesiveness to the design.

ReplyDeleteI like the effect of you created with the dandelion on the back and inside cover to create the balance between color and black and white. It creates a great symmetry with the front cover.
