I really like the 2nd street photo, it has a lonely feel to it. Your photos were taken a good time of the day, the light brings out the colors very nicely.
Winslow is my home town, so I know the history of this part of town, and the subject matter is something I can relate to. I know that the there is not much to the town, buit you captured a historical block, and I have to sy you did it at the just the right town. If there's one thing good about winslow, it's the beautiful sunsets. It looks like these were taken around that time, and I enjoy how the glow from the vanishing sun accentuates the buildings and vehicles, and gives the scene a sense of peace and beauty.
Yes I agree with Kelley! The images are strong but the mood and (because of it's tone/light) it gives off a soft welcoming feeling. I think it's because of the cool colors and "soft" light.

ReplyDeleteBoth of these images are strong in content. I love the lighting and feel of the empty street in the first image.
