I designed this cover for Threshold 2012. I scanned a lot of textures, made a watercolor for the background and then pulled in some different type treatments to give it the look of the art on the front. I really enjoyed this project. It took second place.

ReplyDeleteI like your cover, to me it's quite abstract however it definitely describes the artistic side of Threshold. The texture usage with the color go together amazingly because it looks like something from a combination of wood blocks, water colors, and ink splatters done. It reminds me of an old style composite.
