I really like how all of these pieces have a nice sense of lighting. The way the light plays off of the subject matter, especially in "Luna's Windowsill", really gives the photos a warm feel while highlighting small details.
Thank you Chloe, Luna's Windowsill is definitely my personal favorite out of these three. I have the natural setting to thank for the highlighting, though, it was the sun that gave the lighting on that piece. It's amazing how pre-twilight seems to give off the best lighting for any artist.
Luna's Windowsill has a wonderful quality of immediacy; the viewer feels as if they are actually in the presence of this mysterious creature. The subtle shadow of the window screen thrown onto the cat's face is especially effective.
That's how I felt too, Maryhelen. I guess for a simple digital camera, it really got that shot well and I think it captured what I was going for when I took it.
